Independent consulting · power and cooling
Assessment, efficiency, and modernization.
Principal-led work on data halls and pods. Sustainable, efficient power and cooling: walk the white space, plan the sequence, design the change, and coordinate deployment so the plant holds. Liquid-to-chip and aging air plant are methods, not the headline.

Data center assessment, efficiency, and modernization consulting — power and cooling together. Assessment including redundancy, planning, modernization design, deployment as coordination in the field, efficiency and uptime, performance witness testing, and vendor assessment. Principal-led by Steven Edwards.
Services
What we do.
01
Assessment
Walk the data hall or pod as it is: IT load, cooling plant, power path, and what is installed versus what the drawings say. Includes redundancy assessment.
02
Redundancy assessment
N+1, 2N, and what actually remains when a unit, a path, or a plant fails — power and cooling, in the data hall or pod as built.
03
Planning
Sequence the work so the data hall or pod holds while it changes: overlap of air and liquid, power and cooling, what is retired and what stays.
04
Modernization design
Design the change of medium and plant — power and cooling together. Liquid-to-chip conversion and retiring or upgrading aging air plant are methods, not the brand.
05
Deployment
Design into the field: coordinate the sequence with GCs, vendors, Cx, and operations. Independent consulting, not a contractor taking the install.
06
Efficiency improvement
Right-size the plant that is already there. Delta-T, airflow, heat rejection, electrical waste, and the units that still earn their floor space.
07
Uptime improvement
Setpoint that holds. Sequences and redundancy that survive a failure. The data hall or pod as operated, not as marketed.
08
Performance witness testing
Independent observation of factory and site performance tests on power and cooling plant. Owner's eyes on the test — not the commissioning authority of record.
09
Vendor assessment and grading
Independent scoring of equipment and vendors against the duty of a specific data hall or pod. Not a published ranking, not a paid mill.
How we work
Assess the data hall or pod first.
01
Assess the data hall or pod
02
Plan the sequence
03
Design the modernization
04
Deploy and commission
05
Improve efficiency and uptime
